Summer Institute: Blogs, Wikis, Podcasting

I attended the Summer Institute in Emporia. Day One was filled with information about Blogs, Wikis, and Podcasting and how to use them with students. I have been working on this since Tri-Conference when the 43 Things for Librarians session challenged me to get up to date. My goal for this blog is to build a place where PCMS students can exchange recommendations and thoughts about the books they are reading. So far, the biggest challenge is going to be getting the tech department to unblock the site. I am hoping that reading David Warlick's book, Raw Materials for the Mind, will give me some persuasive arguments.
